The Polana Serena Hotel hosts today, Thursday, at 2:30 p.m., the 1st Ordinary General Assembly of the recently established, Mozambican Association of Constitutional Law, with the participation of its founding members, including judges of higher courts, university rectors, and academic staff, as well as invited guests.

Among other items on the agenda, the meeting is expected to designate the members of the Association’s governing bodies, with particular emphasis on the Council for Studies, Research and Ethics, a key organ entrusted with advancing the Association’s objectives of promoting, disseminating, and fostering awareness on constitutional legal matters.

The Mozambican Association of Constitutional Law (AMDC) is a private legal entity incorporated under Mozambican law, of educational nature and non-profitable character. The association aims at promoting the study, research, academic outreach, and dissemination of Mozambican Constitutional Law, both nationally and internationally, as well as constitutional legislation and jurisprudence, through exchanges among specialists, researchers, and jurists in this field. The Association was established with the support of the Constitutional Council.
